In this wave, professional photographer Hironori Akutagawa has become one of the well-known photo bloggers. Hironori's most frequent subject is Oolong (his pet rabbit) for photo gallery style setting shots.

“I live with rabbits for most of my life. From 1994 to 2003, I created a homepage for my pet rabbit, Oolong, and regardless of my own intentions, it became a hot topic all over the world and was even used as an Internet meme. My work has been featured in the New York Times and has had several photo exhibitions in Japan.”
